CAROLINE MAUD Barton celebrated her 101st birthday on March 15 in style at the Bellavista Hotel in Luz.
“I didn’t want a big party like last year, but the numbers snowballed a bit. We had a great time,” Maud said.
Since The Resident interviewed her after her 100th birthday, not a lot has changed for Maud: “I’ve still got it up here, that’s all that counts.” And after her birthday facial and makeover, she certainly looks great.
After spending Christmas in the UK, Maud is glad to be back in the Algarve and is looking forward to the summer, when she can sit on her patio and admire the flowers.
