Top Lagos ladies handball team Gil Eanes was eliminated from the sport’s European Cup competition along with long standing domestic rivals Madeira SAD.
The Algarveans went down 24-36 to Oldenburg in Germany while the islanders were narrowly beaten by Amsterdam.
