Charity hampers
Eighty-five needy families in the Western Algarve borough of Vila do Bispo will be receiving bumper Christmas hampers this week, in a bid to bring a little sparkle to their festive season. The initiative, led by the borough council, has been backed by local businesses Intermarché, Pingo Doce, Alisuper, Recheio, the Martinhal Resort, Hotel Memmo Baleeira and the Clube Recreativo de Sagres.
