THE WELCOMED rain outside did not dampen the spirits of those who made the effort to attend the Halloween night celebrations last Saturday evening, down at the Casual’s clubhouse at St Julian’s School in Carcavelos.
A fun and enjoyable evening was had by all, with some excellent live music thrown in. The mood was undoubtedly aided by the large glasses of hot mulled wine being served and, once again this year, the bar staff did an excellent job of decorating the clubhouse in a scary and spooky theme. Fun competitions took place later in the evening and the high spirits, along with copious amounts of witches’ brew, made even James Lee’s singing tolerable.
