FOR THE second consecutive year, athletes will be taking to the streets of Castro Marim and Altura for a half-marathon, taking place on April 2. The event is being organised by the Clube Recreativo Alturense, Castro Marim Câmara and the Junta de Freguesia of Altura.
More than 500 runners – national and international, professionals and amateurs – are expected to take part in the 21km run. Teams from various well known Portuguese athletics clubs have already confirmed their participation, as well as some from Spain and Morocco.
