AUSTRALIAN baggage handler for national airline, Qantas, was imprisoned for more than two-and-a-half years after he was found guilty of 50 counts of an unusual theft.
Rodney Lyle Peterson regularly rummaged through lost or delayed luggage and collected women’s hair from brushes and clothing. He then placed the hair in clear plastic bags and copied down the women’s personal details. He apparently suffered from a range of sexual deviances including a hair fetish. He apologised and said he did not mean to frighten anyone.
