Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has declared war against the criminals who are assaulting women and cutting off their hair to sell it on for a profit.
Maduro called on the police authorities to hunt down the hair thieves who carry with them scissors to commit their crime and make a profit of between €300 and €600. The hair is allegedly sold to Colombian hair salons for hair extensions. The President said those involved in these crimes will be heavily “punished”.
