Hailstones bring further grief in Trás-os-Montes

After freak weather involving hailstones and thunderstorms ruined crops in the south recently, producers in Trás-os-Montes suffered similar damage over the weekend. “Everything has been destroyed” said one, describing devastation in fields of potatoes, olive groves and fruit orchards.
