Portuguese and Spanish authorities joined forces to dismantle an international network illegally distributing anabolic steroids to gyms in Portugal.
ASAE (food and economic standards agency) inspectors seized 4,775 food supplement packs and 330 boxes of medicine, suspected to be counterfeit, to the amount of 118,000 euros.
In Spain, police arrested 12 individuals suspected of being the leaders of the network and being involved in several transactions with gyms in Portugal.
