In a bid to “oppose prejudice”, a gymnastics festival featuring both athletes and people with special needs will be taking place this weekend (May 15 and 16) at Loulé’s municipal sports complex.
Entitled ‘Ginástica com Todos’ (Gymnastics for All), the event is being organised by the AAPACDM, an association supporting children with special needs, alongside the Algarve Gymnastics Association.
It will feature two separate competitions, starting with an artistic gymnastics competition on Friday (May 15) and followed by a gymnastics and dance festival on Saturday.
Admission is free.
