Gusto by Heinz Beck, Quinta do Lago €€€€
Located at the Conrad Algarve, Gusto (one Michelin star) is the Algarve outpost of German chef Heinz Beck, who has three Michelin stars to his name at his restaurant in Rome.
As consultant chef, Beck helped form the menu and the Gusto team, headed by the Italian chef Daniele Pirillo. Focusing on exceptional Italian cuisine made with the best ingredients, the atmosphere at Gusto is elegant with a contemporary feel.
Alongside the degustation menu there is a complete à la carte menu, and Heinz Beck’s legendary Fagotelli Carbonara is not to be missed. The wine list is extremely comprehensive and there is also an adjacent cocktail bar.
