A group of about 40 Portuguese is being investigated by authorities in Switzerland who believe it has been running a six-year insurance “mega-fraud”, between 2009 and 2015. The €150,000 con involved simulating car and work accidents and then pocketing the cash. It was detected last year, writes Correio da Manhã, when police caught up with the alleged ringleader of the group in Lausanne. The probe continues.
