Greenvolt invests €30 million in solar farm in Tábua

Portuguese renewable energy company Greenvolt has invested €30 million in the purchase, installation and connection of around 90,000 solar panels in Tábua (near Coimbra), the company’s CEO Carlos Coelho announced this morning. The work – over an area of approximately 90 hectares – will be completed in the last quarter of the year and provide an installed power of 48 megawatts. “We can estimate that it will provide clean energy, green energy, to more than 20,000 homes,” he said.
