Greens crush Nuts, Sinners mauled by Tigers

The Alvor Greens played host to the Amendoeira Nuts on Saturday, October 24, and ran out very convincing winners by 92-22, sweeping up all eight points for the third week running.

Gladiators were also at home at Alvor and won a close match against the Amigos by 57-50 and six points to two. PDF Crusaders returned to winning ways 71-34 against the Valverde Vikings, taking six points to two.

Tavira Tigers made the greatest progress up the table this week by defeating the Sinners by 60-41 and claiming the eight points.

Finally, the Valverde Vulcans were at home to the Pedras Panthers and the Panthers went away with a 68-32 victory and the full eight points.  ABC Cats were unable to host their match against the Harlequins due to maintenance work on their new carpet. This match will now be played on November 12.

The Greens remain in control on top of the table with 24 points, Panthers rise to second on 17, while Cats, Gladiators and Tigers are bunched together on 14 points. Crusaders improve to sixth with 13 points, whist the Sinners remain on 10. Harlequins,Vulcans and Vikings each have eight points.

Amigos and Nuts are currently propping up the rest on four and two points respectively.
