October 23 saw the Pink Ribbon Charity Tournament take place at Onyria Palmares Golf Course, raising €10,000 for the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA).
A total of 76 golfers dressed in pink entered the Am-Am competition, with the team of Jon and Tracy Day and Jane and Andrew Langsdale winning with 90 points.
The game was followed by a dinner attended by 133 people at Adega da Marina in Lagos with music by the Moon-Dance Trio.
Funds were raised from sponsorship of the holes, an auction, the selling of homemade cakes and additional contributions.
