A reforestation initiative is taking place on November 23 to mark the Indigenous Forest Day in Tavira.
Organisers – Centro Ciência Viva de Tavira – say this is the “ideal time” to plant indigenous species in the Iberian Peninsula and asks for volunteers to join them on the day.
The action starts at 9.30am and the meeting point is the entrance to the leisure park by the Conceição de Tavira forest.
