The 32nd TAP Open, played out since 1977 and as such the oldest amateur golf tournament in Portugal, will welcome around 300 competitors representing most of the national airline’s destination countries to the Western ‘Barlavento’ Algarve from tomorrow (Saturday).
The prestigious event will be played out on the Morgado, O’Connor, Penina and Salgados courses throughout the coming week while the concluding prize giving ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Pestana Hotel Dom Joao II in Alvor next Friday evening.
Golf continues with the European Senior Tour Qualifying School finals between November 16 and 19. This time the 72 hopefuls will be vying for places on the 2010 tour at the Pinta Course near Carvoeiro.
