The Tavira branch of the Portuguese Red Cross, a non-governmental organisation, has been established for over 30 years.
One of the largest employers in the region with around 300 associates in health care, education and social services, it is now launching its ‘1st Solidarity Golf Championship’. Both players and sponsors are invited to participate in the three tournaments, the first of which will take place on the Benamor course near Cabanas on July 16. The second leg is scheduled for Castro Marim on July 23 with the concluding 18 holes will be played at Quinta da Ria on August 6.
