The Primary department of Vale Verde International School put on a version of the hit musical ‘Grease’ on March 11 which was played to a packed audience in the school theatre. The cast was made up of students ranging from four to 10 years of age whilst the musical items were accompanied by the Secondary school band.
The show was directed by Victor Torcato and produced by the team of Primary teachers, aided by Deputy Head Girl Nicola Thomas who organised the choreography.
The original themes of friendship, fallouts and reconciliation were evident in the production which even included a scooter race as a very clever adaptation!
The acting and singing reflected the enthusiasm and dedication that the students had demonstrated from day one of their rehearsal schedule.
