THE FIRST quarter of 2007 is being dedicated to the older generation at the espaço internet (internet café) in Mexilhoeira Grande, near Portimão.
Tomorrow (Saturday, January 20) a special session will be taking place where grandchildren will have the challenge of teaching their grandparents how to use the internet. Further sessions will take place on February 3, 10 and 17.
Then, on March 10 and 24, the focus will be on the dangers young people face when using the internet and how to make it safer for them. All sessions begin at 3pm.
The espaço internet in Mexilhoeira Grande comprises six desks with computers offering free internet access. The café is open from Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm and on Saturdays from 3pm to 8pm.
