The final major event of the Atlantic golf society calendar again proved very popular with members and guests, with another large field turning up to do battle at the Onyria Palmares golf course in Lagos.
With ideal playing conditions and previous winning scores of 39/40 stableford points, it was surprising to see the winner come in with only 36 points. That accolade went to Graham Parker who ended his five-year wait for a major trophy, with Linda Dickson, Brendan Sheehan, Andrew Davison and Martin Walkden all in close proximity. Nearest the pin winners were Tony Lopategui, Paul Thorne, Carl Nixon and William Stewart.
Thanks went to event sponsors CL Solutions and Onyria Palmares who provided the restaurant and golf vouchers as well as chicken and chips at the Atlantic Bar.
