Quarteira || The teams of “Gpon Networks” and “Special Me Vilamoura” played the final game of the 7-a-side Old Village Summer Soccer 2014.
This was the 8th year of this popular football event, which took place on the Quarteira astra turf pitch, and as always the competitive element was strong.
The “Blues” (Gpon Networks) won the Old Village Summer Soccer 2014 Cup by a two goal difference and the final score was 14-12.
The players in the winning team were: Mike Jenkins, Pedro Fernandes, Luís Dones, Luís Pacheco, João Santos, Paulo Mendes, José Mártires, James Jenkins and Fernando Costa.
Individual awards were Best Goalkeeper – Mike Jenkins, Top Goal Scorer – James Jenkins (8 goals) and Man of the Match – Luís Dones.
