Government source in Angola warns of “series of retaliatory measures” against Portugal

The State of Angola has “abandoned” the arbitrational court convened to hear a €5.3 billion lawsuit taken out against Portugal over its failure to pursue diamond mining in the country, alleging “serious irregularities”, reports Lusa. A source for the Angolan government has since added that the walkout could spell “the prelude of the beginning of a series of retaliations” against Portugal.
