With effectively four million people now caught up in the nighttime curfews and new restrictions imposed by the Council of Ministers yesterday, the government has extended its moratorium on cuts to essential services. This effectively ‘came to an end’ on June 30. It has now been restored to continue until October 1. The moratorium covers supplies of water, electricity, natural gas and electronic communications.
