The Portuguese government has created a working group that aims to strengthen a “cross-cutting response and multidisciplinary support to victims of crime” and will be responsible for creating a national strategy, the ministry of justice has announced.
In a statement sent to Lusa news agency on Wednesday, the ministry of justice stressed that it is necessary to “adopt an integrated approach to the protection of victims of violence, safeguarding the rights of the most vulnerable”.
