Former secretary of State for Tourism Rita Marques has now heard that even the government condemns her decision to take up a top job in a company she helped while championing tourism. “It is not up to parliament” to sanction Ms Marques, said leader of the PS parliamentary group Eurico Brilhante Dias, but there are other sovereign bodies that have this power which the party hopes will now become involved.
