Following our report last month on a government hit list designed to pare state workers down to the bone, Correio da Manhã reports that ministries have already been contacted for information on salaries, supplements, career paths and categories of every civil servant on their payroll.
The finance ministry is compiling the list and has confirmed that “information collected will be integrated into a unique database”.
With this database, the Government will be able to “define new salaries and supplements” for 2015, says CM.
In March of this year, the Government had a total of 561,000 employees.
