A Pink Ribbon Charity golf tournament will be taking place on October 23 at the Palmares golf course in aid of the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA).
The competition will be an Am-Am with a shotgun start at 12.30pm followed by a dinner from 7pm at Adega da Marinha in Lagos.
Participation in the event costs €75 per person and includes buggy hire, green fee, the prize-giving dinner and a €20 donation to the AOA.
Non-golfers are also invited to attend the dinner at a cost of €25.
Money raised from the event will be used to help fund the Casa Flor das Dunas project, a home for patients who need radiotherapy on a daily basis and need a place to stay while receiving this treatment.
Entry to the tournament will be on a first come first served basis and those interested can either enter as individuals or as teams.
