Proceeds raised during a charity golf tournament in Silves in aid of a special needs child have been boosted by an extra €200, bringing the total to €3,500.
As reported in the Algarve Resident edition of September 6, The Rhiannon Trophy, organised by Brian and Terri Randall at the Silves Internacional Clube de Golfe, was held in support of special needs child Angelo, the son of the head greenkeeper Alberto. Pictured are Brian and Terri Randall handing the cheque to Alberto and his family at the Silves golf course.
Alberto receives no financial support for the specialist care his son requires. The tournament was named after Brain and Terri Randall’s granddaughter who also needs special care.
