A golf tournament was held on November 4 at Quinta do Lago golf club in memory of Linda Einwallner, who died in August.
Around 1,000 Euros was raised during the event to be donated to Riding for the Disabled in the Algarve with the money raised being used to sponsor the riding therapy of the Associação Portuguesa Paralisia Cerebral, the association for cerebral palsy, for one year.
Chairman of Riding for the Disabled in the Algarve, Rosemary Owen, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have received this generous donation. Linda took a very active interest in running our association for many years and I am sure that she would be very happy to be remembered in this way.”
She added: “We are very grateful to the organisers of the tournament and to all who took part to pay such a worthy tribute to a wonderful lady.”
