GOLF PROFESSIONALS from some of the Algarve’s leading golf courses are offering free golf tuition during the first three weeks of August, in a roadshow organised on 15 of the region’s beaches.
All those interested in learning the basic principles of golf can register at one of the specially erected golf centres on the beaches between 9am and 4pm to receive a complimentary one hour lesson with an accredited golf Pro at a nearby golf course, from 5pm onwards.
This initiative is being organised by the Conselho Nacional da Indústria do Golfe, with support from the government and the Portuguese Golf Federation with the objective of introducing golf to those on holiday in the Algarve.
The schedule and locations for the Academia de Golfe project are as follows:
