Golf glitters

LISBON’S TOURISM Board will be in Germany until the end of October to promote golf and other activities available in the Portuguese capital.

As one of the four main markets of tourism, Portugal has invested 625,000 euros in this promotional campaign and it accounts for more than 10 per cent of the funds provided by the National Tourism Board.

Throughout the Lisbon area, there are more than 20 golf courses as well as two nine-hole courses in the city, and the Lisbon Golf Coast brand has won a Best Golf Destination in Europe award.
