Pinheiros Altos was the venue for the first Atlantic golf society event of the season (now in its seventh year) and with wet and blustery condition good scores were at a premium.
This was not the case for Matt Shaw who carded an impressive 36 points, with Jay Taylor and Ian Lee a distant second and third, respectively.
Nearest-the-pin winners were Jay Taylor and Tom Poolton with Tom also winning the “Hit the shot” competition after the presentation in the Atlantic Bar which sponsored the annual event.
The next society event takes place on Wednesday, May 5 at Onyria Palmares at a cost of €80 with buggy and sweep included. Non-members are welcome.
