Animal charity SOS Algarve Animals is hosting a charity golf day at the Pestana Vila Sol Golf & Resort Hotel in Vilamoura on June 22.
The event, the first of the Algarve Charity Series sponsored by Affinity Global Wealth, aims to raise funds for the animal association, which rescues and rehomes an average of 400 animals per year and holds frequent sterilisation campaigns in the region.
The Algarve Charity Series is a charitable local business network that aids SOS Algarve Animals, Madrugada and ACCA, three local charities in desperate need of support.
The golf day will kick off at 9am and will take place in an Individual Stableford format. The cost per person is €70, including lunch and drinks, with members of Vila Sol enjoying a special discounted rate.
Besides individual and group prizes, there will also be many fun games with great prizes, such as closest to the pin or hole-in-one, as well as an auction.
