COLIN AND Sybil Brown, who have lived in the Algarve for 20 years, recently got together with their three children, nine grandchildren and a total of nearly 100 guests to celebrate 50 years of marriage. The party was held at their villa at Pestana Gramacho golf club. Colin and Sybil then travelled from their villa to the clubhouse in a traditional Portuguese horse and cart and later sat down to dinner at the clubhouse. Members of Algarve 41 club presented the happy couple with a bronze statue, The Couple by Jean Brown (no relation).
