Albufeira resident Fiona Gonçalves represented Portugal with great success at the recent 8th European Veterans Cross Country and Indoor Championships in Belgium.
The Scottish-born runner who has lived in the Algarve for over 20 years took the silver and bronze medals over 5,000 and 3,000m respectively.
