Portugal’s GNR police begin their Easter “Operation Páscoa 2022” today, increasing patrols throughout national territory designed to ‘combat criminality’ and ‘regulate traffic’. In a communiqué, the police force says the operation will remain in place until April 18, advising drivers to be “attentive, cautious and defensive” throughout the Easter period.
