Lagos Câmara has provided premises to be utilised as a new GNR station for the city. Following criticism by the GNR’s Associação dos Profissionais da Guarda about the lack of acceptable working conditions at the current police station, Mayor Júlio Barroso made two pavilions at the former EB 2-3 nº1 school available for the new premises. A response from the government is now awaited with approval.
