GNR seized around 700 kilos of hashish at the Fuseta fishing port in Olhão on Sunday (February 6).
The local coastal control unit detected a boat travelling without lights near the Fuseta breakwater. Due to its “suspicious behaviour”, a GNR team was dispatched to the port where the boat had docked to unload the 20 bales.
The suspects fled when police arrived and have not yet been identified.
