GNR police issued 77 fines for illegal motorhoming in the Costa Vicentina natural park on Tuesday (November 26).
The surprise swoop took place at the Amado, Barranco and Ingrina beaches as well as Ponto da Fisga.
GNR police say motorhomers must adopt an “environmentally-friendly” behaviour as camping in non-authorised areas not only” jeopardises nature and the environment, but also poses risks to public health.”
