A team from the GNR’s ‘Escola Segura’ (Safe School) visited the International School of the Algarve educational facility in Espiche, Lagos, to discuss safety with pupils from Pre-Reception, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
Children were taught to walk safely along the roadside, how to cross a road, how to fasten the seat belt in the car and what to do when approached by a stranger or when someone knocks on the door and there is no one else at home.
