GNR police have celebrated a bumper week of arrests this month. Between March 3 and 9 agents arrested no less than 702 people “in flagrante” for various crimes, the majority of them drink/ driving (272), followed by driving without a licence (183) and domestic violence. A further 76 people were arrested for drug trafficking, and the rest for other crimes, including theft/ robbery, possession of an illegal weapon and arson.
