This Sunday (July 1) the Association of Blood Donors (ADSBA) in the western Algarve invites the public to attend a blood drive being held at the Hospital do Barlavento do Algarve in Portimão.
The drive will take place between 8.30am until 12.30pm on the first floor of the hospital.
In order to be a blood donor the participant much be aged between 18 and 65 years of age (or up to 60 years if donating for the first time), must weigh at least 50 kilograms and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
