The Algarve’s regional team Selecção do Algarve – comprised of the region’s best female under-16 footballers – won a national competition of seven-a-side football last Tuesday (April 22) when they beat players from Braga 1-0 at Entroncamento, north of Lisbon.
The Algarve Football Association has congratulated both the team and all its support staff for the win.
