The Giracor Annual Art Show grand opening will take place at the Hotel Garbe on Wednesday December 8. The Giracor Group is based at the new Art School in Lagoa and has members from more than eight different countries, each one transmitting the influence of their culture to the canvas.
The artists have expressed their maturity and life experiences with a variety of styles, in different media, creating works that are vibrant with colour, harmonious in shape, and sufficiently individual to stir emotions.
In all, there will be about 40 works of diverse styles and techniques, on display in the Hotel Garbe’s reception area until December 15.
There is an opportunity to meet the artists on December 8, when they will be enjoying a traditional Christmas dinner in the hotel at 7pm. They would be delighted for others to join them (20 euros per person, including wine and coffee).
