Event || Loulé’s giant pastry event ‘Mega Folhado’ has helped raise €600 and 50 kilos of toys and clothes to be donated to local charities supporting the needy.
On May 17, the 11-metre long pastry was cut up into slices and sold to those eager to taste the local delicacy.
Proceeds raised will now be donated to the ‘Os Miúdos’ children’s home and the Gentes de Loulé community centre.
The initiative was developed by students of the tourism management course at the local private university INUAF.
