Getting to know you…

THE ALGARVEANS Experimental Theatre is holding an Open Evening for members and potential new recruits for their group.

Actors and painters, dressmakers and scenery builders plus directors, scene designers and backstage crew are all required to put on the three productions a year the group aims to provide for their ever-growing audiences.

While Lagos Cultural Centre has been the main venue for productions until now, the Lagoa Auditorium is now open and some future productions are planned to take place there, making it easier for people living in the eastern Algarve to participate.

On Saturday, May 14, between 6.30pm and 8pm, anybody interested in amateur theatre is invited to join members of The Algarveans at the Ti Teresa Restaurant in Vale Lousas, to find out more about the group’s performances and social activities. For further information, call Sue on 282 789 608.
