Getting richer

Forbes magazine’s “rich list” shows how Portuguese mega-millionaires Américo Amorim and Belmiro de Azevedo have even more reason to smile about this year. Their fortunes have increased substantially – in the case of Amorim by as much as €870 million taking him up 49 places on the world’s podium of wealth. Azevedo, meantime, has scrambled up 337 places, but is still behind Amorim’s overall fortune of €3.8 billion.
