An orange festival is being held on the Avenida S. João in Portimão until Sunday.
The festival runs during the regular market hours of 7am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm today (Friday) and between 7am until 2pm at the weekend.
Visitors will be able to purchase oranges for €0.39 per kilo.
A special area at the market, called Banca Sabores da Nossa Terra, will be preparing orange cocktails for tasting at the event as well as sell the drink in various bottle sizes.
