When it comes to good health, Owain Harris is working from the feet up as he treats all chiropody and podiatry problems for clients at clinics or at their own homes across the Algarve.
After 10 years working within the NHS in the UK, Owain Harris took over from Anne Bull in September 2009.
Owain Harris told the Algarve Resident: “I offer all podiatry and chiropody, services from medical chiropody which includes the removal of corns, hard skin and calluses, to a pain clinic.”
At the pain clinic, Owain assesses the gait of a person to be able to identify a course of action to help target areas causing discomfort and pain.
“With each client, I always sit down and talk about what they want to get from my services, for some it is to maintain general foot care in our hundred mile service, while for others they are looking at combating pain caused by their feet,” said Owain.
The chiropody and podiatry services of Owain Harris are available at Luzdoc in Praia da Luz, the Hospital São Gonçalo de Lagos, The Salon in Alvor and Clínica Pacifico in Albufeira.
